Cabbage Patch Kid

Towards the end of the school year all of the kids in Karli's grade received a small cabbage plant to plant in their garden with the hopes of growing the biggest cabbage and winning a scholarship prize. Not many people planted it, and I wasn't planning on it but Karli was very persistent. So with little effort we planted the cabbage and left it all summer.

It sure was tastey! I'd love to grow them again because it was so easy.

Wow, that is one big cabbage! I need to throw Zach's away it is still sitting on my counter (alive) in hopes to planted one day! Now that winter is coming and our little cabbage is the same size as when we got it!!! I might need to just throw it in the garbage and cross one more thing off my to do list!!!
